Sportsmanship

A thing that all athletes our exposed to at a young age in youth sports is sportsmanship. It has gotten to a point in today's youth activities that the kid's our being babied to a point where kids don't feel the need to work hard because they can win anyways. But some parts of sportsmanship is needed and is important for the sport to remain under control and have it fun. For example people shouldn't be able to just fight and disrespect officials, they need to respect there calls either way they go. Here is an example of an extreme case of sportsmanship would be like no vulgar trash talk, sometimes that helps the game is just part of it.

In today's world at youth sporting events the kids aren't allowed to swear or use a little trash talking to make the game exciting, sometimes that how the game is played such as football you should be allowed to trash talk and say your better just so you can see a nice rivalry and some big things happen. Another big things is you aren't allowed to just dominate teams, they make it so that once you our beating them extremely bad you should not keep running up the score. Now the thing about running up the score is that you technically can not be penalized for it, but it is just viewed as wrong and disrespectful by a lot of people.

Sportsmanship is also good though because you need it to keep kids enjoying it even the ones that aren't as good, i think it is very good to stay active and who knows that kid could develop into a very good player. You don't want fights and just extreme amount of vulgar language or threats in the sport because it will steer some people away from the activity and viewing it won't be as popular. I strong believe in sportsmanship to the refs and officials in the game because they make the sport possible and it is a tough job to do.
