Bias and Balance

My book is very bias against Nazi party because they are at war against the Nazi party at this time. The book is bias against the Germans because the author is American and believes in American ways and supports his own country. He is bias against the Germans because throughout the whole book he disagrees with the Nazi parties way of doing things and is just mortified by the way they are treating innocent civilians also known as the Jewish people. He is telling about a platoons adventures through the captains words. A great example of him being bias is when the platoon of American soldiers arrives at the German concentration camp called Dachau which is a very deadly camp, when they arrive they are just in shock and disbelief in what there eyes are seeing. They just don't understand how someone can have so much anger at a group of people, it just doesn't seem real.

Context of The Liberator

The Liberator is about one mans journey through World War two and what he has to deal with to survive. The book is about a man named Felix Sparks who is the main character also known as the The Liberator. Alex and his battalion saw many forms of hell while in battle he lost many men and saw lots of overall death. One of the most profound things he came across was the concentration camp called Dachau he describes this as the literal definition of hell. Alex and his battalion are part of the 7th armies 45th division also known as the thunderbirds. Sparks was raised in Arizona during the depressions years and was drafted into the military following Pearl Harbor attack, when he left to fight he left behind his pregnant wife. While fighting in Sicily he quickly discovered he liked to be in the action and wanted to fight at the front line with his men. Sparks was ordered to liberate Dachau and when he arrived there he found boxcars filled with corpses and it pushed his men to there limit and they started killing the SS gaurds they had prisoner, sparks quickly put an into that though.

I chose my book because it seemed very interesting and it is discussing a topic that really intrigues me. My book is called The Liberator and the author of it is Alex Kershaw. It is about the adventures and activities of World War 2. It is about the liberation of Germany, I have always been interested in war stories and movies. They seem to draw me in and keep me reading and that is a struggle for me. I am not the type of kid to just go and read because I find myself getting bored or distracted. The book tells about one mans journey through World War 2 and what challenges he had to overcome throughout the war. Over the years I have found myself being interested in real stories that I can learn from and feel like I am actually there living in the experience they are talking about. I really think this book will be very good and so far early in the story it has been good.

Dad bods

Now as many of you readers may have noticed there is an epidemic spreading, a deadly pathogen, a plague.  Its not Ebola but I wish it was.  Its worse than the dude that first contracted AIDS from a monkey.  Its the Dad Bod.  So this Dad Bod is a new trending body type, though I hesitate pretty hardly on calling it a body or even a type, its more like a lack of both.  The Dad Bod reminds me a lot of a wax sculpture of a body that was left out in the sun all day.  Apparently some girls are crazy about this.  I'm gonna go ahead now and dive into a place of no return, the female psyche and try to understand exactly why girls are attracted to the Dad Bod and why anyone reading this should not fall into this deadly trap.
Okay now, I'm about as shallow as a plate of cereal, my brain has two halves, left and right swipe (a tinder reference).  So when girls started right swiping hard lefts, I knew something wasn't adding up.  So evidently the Dad Bod craze isn't about physical appearance or a man's body type.  With some few exceptions most girls are not going to say that the guy who's body looks like really beat mashed potatoes (the Dad Bod) is hotter than the guy who has the body of a Greek God.  What they're really saying is that they're attracted to a human version of a melted ice cream cone for the same reason that I like getting all my life advice from Dr. Oz and Elite Daily articles.  Its easy, its all about me, and it tells me exactly what I want to hear.  Its literally the attraction to the human version of complacency.  Believe it or not there some dudes with beer guts that have goals and strong personalities, but now thanks to the Dad Bod craze, being a person of worth is now just as unattractive as being in shape.  I kid you not, you cannot write this stuff.  This isn't science fiction, this isn't fantasia, this is 100% reality.  This is the world we live in today and I'm not raising kids in this to be expected to just be pushovers.
One last thing to get straight is that Leonardo DiCaprio is not the poster boy for Dad Bods.  He is an extremely successful, multimillionaire who is also extremely talented and 40 years old!  What these girls are going for is more like a human foul ball at the ripe age of 20.  Look I get it, you can't strike out if you keep hitting foul balls.  They're literally going after guys who are good at nothing and barely mediocre at everything.  These guys do not care enough to do anything with passion and they won't argue with you when you want to put up those Live, Laugh, Love decals on the wall of his apartment that you just decided to move into.  I'm just going to leave it at that and you can decide for yourself if this whole Dad Bod craze is a good thing

Best Athletes

The best athletes in the United States typically come from the southeast or southwestern regions of the United States. While the more tough hard knock power type performing kids come from the Midwest or Northern regions of the United States. Obviously this isn't always true for everyone you can find fast small athletic kids in the north and a big powerhouse performing player in the midwest.

College Football is a prime example of this if you look at teams in the North or Midwestern conferences you don't find a lot of fast pace speed offenses, while on the other hand when looking at the majority of teams in the southern regions they play more fast pace offenses and playing styles. That is what makes college football fun to watch because people are interested in how teams will match up and what playing style will work better.

Outdoor sports are more competitive in the south due to weather which allows them to play all year round instead of taking breaks for several months while its cold and crappy weather is occurring. That is why you see this athletic comparison mainly in football because in regions in bad weather they take breaks from the sports instead of playing all year round. Another sport that is more dominant in the south is baseball because they play all year round and don't stop. Sports that are dominated in the north and midwest though are sports like wrestling because kids in the regions with bad weather take breaks from the more popular sports and compete in a very hard knock sport. Athletes can come from anywhere in the U.S. though just matters how hard they are willing to work at what they want.

Kuentucky basketball

Kentucky basketball has made a huge name for there program, throughout my lifetime they have been a very competitive program in college basketball. In the past few years they have one multiple championships and also had nearly perfect seasons. Last year was a prime example of what I mean when I refer to them as a very solid program, they should have went undefeated last year but the pressure got to them and they lost one of there lasts games of the season.

Kentucky may have lost that game but everybody who pays attention to college basketball knows that they were easily the most dominant and best basketball team in the country. This year they have potential to be that good as well they have started off winning the maui invitational winning against another very dominant college basketball program The university of Duke. Kentucky is currently ranked at the 2nd best college basketball since the 1985 the best program is Duke. Kentucky nearly had another perfect season about 3 or 4 years ago when Anthony Davis was playing for them but they losses late in the season but they still managed to win the NCAA tournament.

One thing other basketball programs don't have is the large amount of NBA players that Kentucky consistently brings in every year. In the past few years they almost have had all there starters go to the NBA after a year or 2 of playing. I feel like Kentucky basketball is only at its prime to and they will keep getting more dominant every year in the future. Kentucky has a different system thought then the university of Duke; Kentucky has one and done players and just recruits all stars. The university of Duke has a different system on winning they build a team involving players that will play good with each other and recruiting players that are willing to play college ball for 2 to 4 years and build up an expierenced team.

Stress Caused by Sports

There are many stresses and things that could go wrong being an athlete. The biggest thing for me is the time management. I have practices every day along with the homework and family priorities. I often find myself very busy with little free time to relax or do activities. This is the worst during the busiest part of school season and the busiest part of club season when we are gone for days at a time. When you miss school, you have to do all the make up work along with all the current work. It can get very tiring and annoying. Also, it is VERY hard not to get distracted by your phone or other devices, especially after a game day or tournament, when you want to check what people said about the game.
Another stressful thing about playing a sport is being frustrated about being in a rough patch. Sometimes, when you are working at things and trying to get better, you feel like you're getting worse before you get better. There are a lot of failures before success, but eventually you get it. Also, people get frustrated when they are  not doing so well in practice or in a game. In volleyball this is easy to do, and because so much of the game is mental, one mistake could affect the next play and sometimes the one after that if you get mad, upset, or let it bother you. We just have to remember that it is okay to make mistakes and that you learn from them.

Another problem with some athletes is getting tired of your sport. If someone is constantly practicing and playing with no breaks, they might get burnt out and not enjoy playing or not want to play anymore. This is probably more likely to happen if the practices seem repetitive, like they're doing the same things all the time in practice. Some people will get burnt out, but some who really enjoy the game won't. It just depends on the person. Some ways to prevent this from happening is to take a break from it, or in your free time do things non sports related, so you're not always thinking about it and you're not always with the same people all the time. Sometimes it's not always the sport you get tired of, but the people.
In sports, it's important to have good team chemistry. It is important for the team to get along so they can play well together, and when they don't it can be frustrating. That is another tough thing about playing sports; getting along with your teammates and how to deal with it if you don't. When people don't get along or if players have bad attitudes it can affect the whole team, even if it is just a couple people from the team because it can make the game not fun to play.
